*The girls youth hockey players were challenged to shoot and stick handle May - September, record and submit their progress. The players who reported results throughout the entire challenge were treated to a day with Winny Brodt (former Gopher player and current Minnesota WhiteCap player) at the Women's Gopher game!!
The Red Wing Girls youth hockey program would like to congratulate Rose Alleva on becoming one of five finalists for the Ms. Hockey 2010 award.
This award is given to the finest athletes in our state. In addition to on-ice talent, criteria for the Let’s Play Hockey Ms. Hockey Award include academics, community/extracurricular activities, citizenship and coachability.
The 2010 Ms. Hockey Award winner will be named at the Ms. Hockey Awards Banquet on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 11:30 a.m., at the RiverCentre in St. Paul.
