Red Wing 10U Purple Takes 2nd at Home Tournament
Red Wing 10U Purple Takes 2nd at Home Tournament:
The Red Wing 10U Girls hockey team took 2nd at home tournament after falling short to North Metro. Red Wing opened with a 3:1 victory over Cottage Grove. RW skated to another defeat over Mpls Storm 3:1. In the championship game, Red Wing just couldn’t put it past Metro’s goalie enough to take the win, even though RW outshot Metro 17:10.
