Game Day - Week 4

We moved to 4-0 with a big win vs. the Blue team.  Once again we had some big plays and a steller defence.  One more to go for a perfect season.  Go Spartans!

Game Day - Week 3

The Spartans had a good showing against the Red Team this week.  The offense and defense both dominated in their physical play.

Game Day - Week 2

Another good performance by the Spartans on Saturday morning.  Lots of playing time to go around at all positions.  I continue to be impressed with our teams knowledge of the playbook.  Next week we will be tested on our ability to perform all plays against a good team.  Keep working hard Spartans.

Game Day Week 1

We had an excellent first game agaist Maroon.  I thought the kids ran the playbook very well for the fist game.  This week we will focus more on defense and offensive execution.  It appears that most teams are passing more than last year, so we will have to spend more time on pass defense.  Keep studying the playbook.  Great job boys!

Welcome to Spartan Football

We had a good first practice on Saturday morning.  This week we will put our focus on getting ready for the game on Saturday morning.  The kids will get their positions on Monday and a playbook to take home and study.  The 7th graders will lead the way early in the season, with the 6th graders watching and following what they see.  The kids will learn one position this week with the chance to try another later in the season.  All kids will play both offense and defense.  Please help me enforce the fact that all positions are important on the team.  Only a few can carry the ball. Let's have a great season.  Go Spartans!
