The usssoccer.com Referee Week in Review is designed to address the issues facing referees at all levels by using video highlights from professional games as well as the U.S. National Teams. The Referee Week in Review will highlight specific areas of focus and current U.S. Soccer initiatives designed to improve performance and aid in the development of officials across the country.
RWSC will use GameOfficials.net software to manage it referee assignments.
If you receive a "New Game" notice for a game on your mobile device, you can accept or decline the game by replying to the message. This will allow you to accept or decline games when you do not have time or are not able to log into GameOfficials.net.
You should be able to respond with "Accept" or "Decline" if you have the option selected under My Info - Cell/Pager/Email Notifications - One per Game.
Basically you just reply to the text message with "accept" or "decline". It's not case sensitive and you don't need to include any extra content in the message. Should be pretty simple to do. There may be certain carriers that don't send the right content back to us via text message but to date, we haven't heard of anyone that is not able to use that feature.
